Hello Beverly,

I just wanted to give you an update on December Snow (Fleming). He has a beautiful personality and he is very friendly with the other dog's in the area. Me and Anthony love him to death. He is fearless, but he aims to please. December Snow has brought so much joy to our family and he definitely keeps us on our feet. He loves going on walks and runs, I believe we may have spoiled him a bit but he deserves it. The teething and chewing on everything is not taking place as much, he has most of his adult teeth and he is growing 10 lbs. now. We feed him what you recommended and made all of his vet visits. December didn't train so good with using the bathroom inside he is doing better with the outside. We just want to thank you for December he is a wonderful addition to our family and we love him dearly.

Sasha (Nee: Jaycee) is doing great...

Hello Beverly,

Just wanted to give you an update on Sasha. She is beautiful and we love her to death and so does everyone else for that matter. Sasha is friendly and outgoing with everyone she meets. Curious about all her surroundings and just a joy to our lives. She is doing very good with the housetraining (hit or miss on some occasions) and sometimes we have to follow her around with the pad in hand because she starts to search in a frenzy for the perfect spot. She is starting to respond to the verbal commands but being a puppy has its advantages since distraction is very keen. She is smart and very intuitive.

Her visit to the Vet last weekend was perfect. No anxiety and one-on-one visit on his lap and a few kisses to boot. What more could you ask for? We will see him again in four weeks for a follow-up and possibly some shots.

I will send pictures over the weekend.

Many thanks and forever grateful.

Bichon Frise named Angel Falletta Hi Beverly - Hope all is well with you, your family and pups. We cannot believe Angel Annabelle turned a year old. The time has certainly flown by. I just can't resist coming back to your webcams! Those puppies are so adorable!

Lexie is doing just great! She gets the last of her shots next Monday and has her first grooming on the 10th. I can hardly see her eyes! She went to her first Puppy Preschool class last Saturday and did so well. I was so proud of her. I'm really ready for the house training to be over, but I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel…in the distance. We take very short walks every day now and oh, my goodness do the neighbors and all the walkers love to stop and play with her when we are outside. She does that little Bichon stand with the paws going a mile a minute. It's a rare person who can just walk on by without coming to her!

I'm sure all the owners say this, but I couldn't have gotten a better puppy!

It's been awhile since I wrote but to refresh your memory, I am the woman you gave a baby to in October. A very GRATEFUL woman to say the least and words still cannot express how you made me the happiest woman in the world. I have wanted to get back to see you, but without a car, it's very difficult.

Brady is doing unbelievable. Of course he's had all of his shots and he was neutered on Tuesday of this week at my vet's office. I had an appointment with a neuter clinic on Drew Street earlier this month and when I went to drop him off, I was not impressed with the people that would be attending to him nor the facility at all, so they had taken him out back and within minutes, I had asked to have him returned to me and decided I would forego the savings and have my vet do the surgery where I knew it to be sterile, clean, people are fantastic and the vet himself is a gem. So for the past few days I have been trying to keep this bundle of energy quiet to prevent him from running, jumping, licking, etc. Needless to say, I have had to lay on the sofa and pretend to sleep in order for him to completely settle down! You would never know he had the surgery, never complained a bit, not to mention, he never slept like they thought he would :-) Just back to himself immediately after getting home. I am on vacation, but will make a copy of the receipt and send it to you at the beginning of the week.

I believe he lost his last two baby teeth today. I can't see any more left. He is a healthy 13 pounds and prior to the surgery I authorized them to do blood work for any congenital problems and there were none at all. I wanted them to be aware if there was something where he was going under. He is definitely a "momma's" boy and gets all of my attention 100% and boy does he know it! Like I said I'm on vacation this week because I wanted to be here with him 100% of the time after his surgery and I had a list of things I was supposed to accomplish and, well, not a thing has gotten done because he has needed my attention in order to ensure he doesn't pull the stitches. He's my baby for sure!

He is crate trained for his safety when I'm not here and he actually loves his little place. I've continued to get him his bully sticks and he loves those. He is only fed lean treats which I get from the vet. I expect to take him to training in a month or so. I wanted to wait until he was neutered. Although he is well behaved and he does not bark unless he gets excited which is unbelievable because I live in a mobile home park and you know how neighbor's can get. But when I take him for his walks, people actually come out of their homes to see "Brady Boy". His bathing day is on Saturday and he doesn't mind baths at all. As a matter of fact when I'm running the water for his bath he knows and gets very excited. I have a cat named Hobbs and the two of them romp around here like crazy. He likes to sit with me when I'm reading or watching tv providing I play with him with my free hand :-) Beverly, he is an absolute love....he actually has a perpetual smile (hopefully, that doesn't sound crazy, but he does). He tends to prance rather than a conventional walk which is adorable.

I need to buy a new cord for my camera so I can post pictures and when I do, I will be sure to send you some. Hopefully, you can tell that he is spoiled but not to a fault. He is a wonderful little boy. We go to Petsmart every pay day and he gets a kong, ball or toy. They've come to know him and he is a hit with all the employees. He has so many toys, I keep them contained and pull out a few each day so he has a variety and it keeps him interested in them because they aren't constant with the exception of his bully stick which is a constant because he loves them so much. He's a handsome boy and his stance and gait are incredible. I just realized I've written about this lil guy for the past 15 minutes and could go another hour and a half, but I won't. I hope you can envision him and how so very much he is loved. He is my life and I do believe I'm his seeing I just had to stop to hold him like a child because he wanted to see momma. My gratitude to you is far beyond words and is never forgotten as I wake to him every day. I never thought I could love another pup after losing my Molly after 19 years last March, but I was proven wrong. Please know that he is safe, healthy, cared for with the utmost priority, happy and very much loved and I do believe that is what you wanted for your baby.

Some day I would love to come by when my son comes to visit to show you just how well he is doing.

Happy New Year!!!! Thank you for making mine wonderful!

Well, I've had this baby a complete week now and wanted to let you know how he's doing. Of course he got his shots on Tuesday and you would never had known he had them! I expected at the very least he would be a little sore at the spot, but "no" he wasn't at all. He's on his heart worm and flea prevention as well. My son had panicked that I would run out of food for him so his present was he found a place that sold NutriSource and bought a bag...I've since let him know...in the future we give "you" our business. I do not plan on changing his food ever. I read up on NutriSource and I love the fact it has prebiotics and probiotics. The Vet said he was in great health and just loved him to pieces. He has his next round of shots in 3 weeks. I wanted to give him plenty of time to get used to his new home and scheduled the neutering for December 2 (I think that's the date).

Now for some great news on what's gone on...I really expected him to cry all night after being taken from his siblings, once again, he didn't! He uses his potty pads, however, I am beginning to take him out but first want him to get used to the harness and leash. I got this neat harness that actually covers his underside with a wide piece rather than the thin type harnesses, so it's more like a velcro jacket with two openings for his front legs. Makes me feel a lot better that nothing is pulling on his little insides. I noticed he likes to "lean" against things so I thought a kennel type crate would be best for him and he didn't like it at first, he would get a little squirt of water to hush and then yesterday he went into it all by himself :-) That was a tough decision...wire or kennel. But I think I made the right decision for him. He had only one accident in the kennel and that was the first day. Loves his baby blanket. (my son bought him the blanket). I will be getting the exercise pen from you as well. Probably around the first of the month. Of course he's been inundated with toys. Some from me, my son and some friends at work who are so happy I have another baby. He loves his Kong, he whips it in the air and plays with it for an hour at a time. He actually brings his toys back to me when I throw them! He runs laps in the house so he's releasing his energy. I just bought him a little bed anticipating the cooler days coming and he hopped right in it with one of his toys.

He's doing very well with responding to his name and stopping doing something when I say no. He is so smart, I'm thinking he may not need professional training of any sort! He likes to lay at my feet if I'm on the computer..that's when he's not playing of course. You said your grooming day was Friday and I've made his on Saturday. He's already had one night where my son and his wife brought their pekinese over and they played and I have a cat (which is about twice the size of Brady) not fat, just long. They are doing very well together. Of course Hobbs (the cat) listens to my commands (I swear he has canine tendencies) so it has made that transition much easier. Hobbs would never put his claws out...actually I'm not sure if he thinks a newer version of Molly has arrived. At any rate, last weekend and this weekend, the three of us, Brady, Hobbs and Mom have taken a rest in Mom's bed together and they are almost to the point where they are cuddling. He is eating very well. I again, thought just maybe he wouldn't eat for a couple of days because of the change...but he surprised me there too.

Beverly, I don't think I will ever ever stop thanking you for your unbelievable generosity in giving me this precious gift. It has filled a heartfelt void that just ached every day after having to put my Molly down. I knew what it would cost to make a new puppy comfortable, healthy and happy which was making it difficult for me to do it all at once and feared I would never be in a position to get the breed I so much wanted. I fell in love with him when you brought him out the door. I can't see myself with any other breed. I melt looking into their eyes. You were my Blessing beyond comprehension. He gets my undivided attention with love and discipline and he is sooooooooooo good I can't even begin to tell you. Anyone who came and chose others from his litter missed out on an incredible companion. Their loss has been the answer to my prayers. Oh he loves to watch TV haha, I even put the cartoons on for him because I think he likes the tones of the character's voices. We watched 101 Dalmations last night and he didn't take his eyes off the TV!!! I sound eccentric, but I'm really not....he's just so precious.

I'm hoping to have his picture taken at Halloween and if I'm successful, I'll be sure to get you one too! I was so Blessed to have found Phyllis who was Molly's breeder and then you for certain. The love and care these little ones get during their first weeks I believe make or break their dispositions and set the path for their lifetimes. I will have had two dogs in my adult lifetime, both Bichons and I consider myself the luckiest person to have fallen upon two of the best breeders in the world.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hannah's demeanor did a complete turn-around since we picked her up at your house! That calm little pup turned into the demon-dog!!! We figure she thinks now she's the alpha! I took her to puppy obedience school and it was a disaster! Thankfully she passed the "chewing" stage without too much damage, but she's got more toys than most kids! She turned her nose up at the snozzles after a couple, but she loves bully sticks so I buy them 25 at a time at bestbullysticks.com. She's still not quite 10 pounds so we are hoping she will still get bigger. Her behavior changes immediately when my 2 year old grandson comes over. She'll jump up on him when he comes in, but he just pushes her away and then she becomes very compliant. It's really strange. She is very smart, though, and learns quickly. She loves playing ball! Her coat is very thick and even the groomer and my dog-lover hair-dresser commented that she has the tightest curls they've ever seen.

Two things I would like to break her of is licking and gnawing on us. She is constantly licking us, the chair, our clothes or trying to gnaw on our hands - especially when I'm combing her, which I try to do every evening. So if you have any tips on that, we'd love to hear them.

We had a bad scare a couple of months ago. I'm pretty sure she ate a leaf of a plant I had on the lanai - angel trumpet. I knew the blooms are toxic - which I planned to put outside in the ground where she cannot access when it started blooming - but had no idea the leaves are toxic also. It was a Saturday night and we ended up in the animal emergency room and she was on death's door. It was so scary! Anyway, they kept her until the next evening on an IV and she pulled out just fine. Needless to say, that plant went outside immediately.

She is sitting her at my feet napping. We'll continue to work on her training and love her to pieces!
Thanks.

They're doing great! Thanks again for letting us adopt from you. They're so smart and goofy, everyone loves them so much. I also wanted to let you know that they had an adverse reaction to the new Frontline Tritak. It's super rare (less than 1% of dogs experience it), but it is genetic and both Quinn and Simone had reactions (Quinn worse). She was jumping out of her skin, it was so scary! We took them to the ER and to the vet the next day. Our vet, Dr.Palmer, called the pharmaceutical rep, described the symptoms, and that's how we found out what was going on. They recommended we wash them gently and apply vitamin e.

I hope you are doing well. Just wanted to let you know our puppy is doing great! We named her "Gracie", and she is just the light of our lives. We took her to the vet and she checked out just fine, as we knew she would. Bringing her home to our cats was not a problem. She chases and rolls around with the male, and the females hide from her. Additionally, she is really doing well with her potty training. You breed smart dogs, don't you? And of course, we will continue to feed her Life's Abundance. (the cats don't want her food, I am going to put them on it too, if I can identify a URO cate food for them.

I remember from speaking with you that you use Plush Puppy shampoo; but I wanted to ask again which specific shampoo and/or products you use on your Bichons?

It was a pleasure meeting you. Thanks for all your help and advise. Hope you had a lovely Easter.

Fits right into our environment and you'd think he was a member of the family a year ago. He got awfully car sick on the way home and threw up and had poo poo all the way home. Poor little guy. Now he's making up for lost time, though, and eats well in the mornings and evenings. He'll have his vet appointment Thursday. We couldn't get him in before then.

You mentioned you could give me some web sites for his grooming and all. When you get some time, will you please send me anything you have regarding taking care of our baby?

Thanks so much for everything. Your puppy is a dream and so affectionate. You are doing a very good job in your business and that is obvious.

Dear Beverly:

Just to let you know that Booker is the sweetest little guy. I haven't had him neutered yet. He is physically fine and a smart little guy. He is about 98% potty trained. Not bad for 6 months old. Had his second series of shots and now planning on his surgery. He is 9.5 pounds and his coat is still beautiful, and his adult coat is coming in a complete stripe around his neck and down his back. No signs of allergies. I will figure out how to email you a pic of him.

Best wishes

Iris is doing well. She's happy, friendly, curious, confident, attentive, eager to please, social, and loved. She got her first haircut the Monday after we picked her up. Mandy and Lucy are used to her now - took about a week. Lucy and Iris run and play together. Lucy most often is chasing Iris even though she would love to be chased; she just can't keep up with a 4-month old. House training is well under way. She loves to fetch a ball. She knows how to sit (working on Stay). She sits up (begs); did that on her own. Iris has her favorite toys. Next week she has her next set of shots. We are really enjoying her. Oh, and she does like the water - my shower is open and walk-in. It is not uncommon to see Iris trying to catch the water!
Thanks for a great puppy!

The Bichon Frise is a great fun-loving companion with their own distinct personality. The Bichon Frise is a charming puffball with a loosely curled double coat consisting of a textured outer coat lined with a soft, fine, silky undercoat that is 3-4 inch long and is virtually hypoallergenic and non-shedding.

The Bichon Frise is an independent, affectionate, charming breed. They are very easy to live with and are excellent with other pets and children. The Bichon Frise is very social and is competitive and obedient. All our Bichon Frise are raised in our home and are given daily socialization. Our Bichon Frise are given a high quality diet and receive the appropriate health preventatives for their age.

Each individual Bichon Frise placement is determined according to that specific puppy’s personality and the role it will play within it’s new family. Because as breeders we feel it is very important to place each Bichon Frise puppy in the right home, we carefully evaluate each puppy’s temperament/personality as it is growing up in order to make this determination.

I’M A BREEDER, AND I AM PROUD!

Bless this frisky puppy

who is into everything his playful fresh behavior is like a day in spring,

Remind me to be patient when he chewed another book

or races through the living room with a newly laundered sock,

He loves without condition, gives me kisses every day,

greets me with a wagging tail after I have been away,

Like any other baby, he needs a lot of rest,

when he falls asleep curled next to me I know that I am blessed.
